10 Pips Per Trade is a kind of forex maxim for me. I do close trades with less than ten pips (for an example, see the post at http://sambeatson.com/?p=60) and I certainly close trades with more than 10 pips as well, for example see the post below - http://www.sambeatson.com/?p=62.
However the reason I make my main target for trading as “low” as 10 pips is because firstly, a great forex trader taught me once that when you’re playing in the online currency market with real money (for example $500 or $1000 per pip) you’re going to close trades with 2 or 3 pips profit and be laughing around town because of it, so why not get used to being disciplined right now.
I have created a new video for my members as a follow up to what I teach to you in the one-to-one session about different setups which you can use to make money in the forex.
