Hi
I do not honestly know whether a lot of forex bloggers, trainers, mentors or teachers actually trade the market or not.
I have had some great products from forex people. I know for a fact there are winners out there willing to put themselves on the line to give others a chance to have what they’ve got.
You know what, it comes naturally. I personally cannot contain the passion, excitement and gratitude I have for knowing how this market works and how to win in forex.
I have an in-built desire to share what I know with others.
I just finished working with a client of mine in Australia who is learning how to trade the market like a professional. He is at a particular stage of his training and that is where he is.
I said to him that there is no substitute to taking the time in front of the market. There simply is not. Knowledge gained from experience can not always be transferred, so it’s up to the individual trader to make winning at forex his own.
When it comes to so-called “systems” “signals” “tips” etc, theis person brought up a great point in to my awareness.
At the end of the day, it is NEVER the systems fault - no not even that system that shan’t be named (I’m sure some of you know which one I mean here)…that doesn’t mean its your fault either, it is a valuable lesson in disguise.
The lesson is that it is always your decision to enter the market or not. Somewhere along the line, you take the decision and are 100% responsible for that. Not the automated trading system you are using, not the indicators, not the setups, strategies, gurus, forex seminars or forums, brokers or blogs.
This way you take responsibility for your own learning.
The other point that was raised was about http://www.sambeatson.com/?p=69
This post was made to illustrate the need for balance, to make the most of life as well as the opportunities that forex provides for the unconsciously competent trader — more on that later on in this blog.
Online currency trading can become a worthwhile obsession, but what is the point in being a successful online currency trader if you have not the health, the love/romance, the joy, the spiritual peace and happiness and all the good things in life? The answer is that you do need time for yourself.
I made the above post not to say I am cutting down my forex trading hours and times, quite the contrary, I’m stepping it UP! But, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to take a great vacation every 3 months for a week or two - hek I have enough laptop computers for my freakin’ baby to have one (how that happened I do not know - but I blame not myself on that)…
So, just to clear that up, Sam Beatson is not stopping forex trading, full time, or forex training and coaching. The opposite is true. Nuff said.
Have a fantastic weekend and clear your mind for next week.
PS. If you enjoy this blog or get something from it, now is the opportunity to go to a new page I have built for this site. The URL for the page is http://www.sambeatson.com/beverage and there is an audio and text to explain what to do! It’s a bit of fun really, so enjoy - clicking here.
