I have mentioned in a previous post some of the forex blogs and forex trainers I think highly of for various reasons…
Here’s a couple of them whose sites I recommend that you can check out if you want to.
Firstly, Grace Cheng in Singapore. She has a huge amount of knowledge of the market and a very good amount of experience and expertise from what I can gather. She runs the super-sexy http://www.gracecheng.com forex blog and I feel she has a hand in the http://www.forexvibes.com forum as well.
I definitely feel that what Grace teaches about the forex market is in alignment with my own beliefs about what people should know and think about when it comes to deciding to be a pro forex trader or to focus your investments in trading the forex market. I do not particularly believe in competition for business in terms of coaching clients etc. because I think the business community on a local, national and global scale is moving towards increased synergy and creativity rather than more competition…well I could not write a thesis on that, but still, it justifies why I don’t mind promoting other people’s businesses even when it would seem counter to some traditional lines of business thought.
Secondarily, Mr Andy Shearman runs a delightful “traderhouse global” in the heart of the British countryside…about 4 minutes from the M1 motorway to be exact…
But seriously, there is a very luxurious country club just outside of London near to Peas Pottage and Andy has an office there which functions as a trading room. It’s awesome if you’re in to that kind of thing - ie a decent lifestyle…
When I say he has an office there that is a trading room. It is just that, live financial TV channels, two to three monitors per computer and some extremely experienced traders. Is that not the environment you need to be in to become successful at trading? Make the effort and come over then and go see this guy. Just take your credit card and you will be looked after…when Andy says “right after the golf club, first on the left after the swimming pool” that is not a tongue-in-cheek joke. The trading room is literally slap bang in the centre of a country club…again, talking of balance a couple of posts down…
His website is http://www.andyshearman.com and you can get a tremendous amount from what he teaches so make sure you use everything he offers and go back and revisit it time and time again. In fact, this could guarantee your success.
Sam Beatson of course….ok, I won’t shamelessly self promote, but I will share some testimonials with you if you don’t mind…no? Thought not.
